Trondheim city sights
The grounds of the Nidaros Cathedral, containing many graves and was immaculately maintained.
The worlds northernmost Gothic cathedral.
The sculptures outside the Trondheim Art Museum.
The Nidaros Cathedral spire.
The cemetery grounds where the family of this deceased person found a way of making sure this tree didn't hide the grave and have just kept it trimmed back around the headstone.
Not sure of the story behind this memorial which had several names on the numerous plaques but it looked really well designed and cared for.
The colourful buildings that line the Trondheim canal.
The picturesque Gamie Bybro on the bridge crossing the Trondheim canal.
You can't get more watersider dining than this.!!
Neighbourhood scenes in Trondheim.
This cafe called the Kafe Soil was popular for university students, who between 6 and 7pm were able to bring an item of used clothing to exchange for another used item. Seemed very well supported.
Everywhere you looked the buildings were so colourful. A real feel good town I have to say.
A very old bridge that was well passed its use by date and definitely not safe but had its own rustic beauty.
Waterfront restaurants.
A flower adorned pedestrian and cycle bridge crossing the canal that led back into town. Very pretty but watch out for the speeding bikes!
